SOFÍA PALAZUELO
PERFUME IS NOT SIMPLY SOMETHING ONE WEARS. IT IS A WAY OF NARRATING THE UNSEEN

Sofía Palazuelo, co-founder of FITZ-JAMES STUART

Sofía Palazuelo is co-founder of FITZ-JAMES STUART, a Spanish high perfumery house where perfume meets art, memory, and emotion.

From the beginning, this has been a deeply personal project for her. She sees perfume as far more than a luxury object; for her, it is a form of contemporary artistic expression, capable of transforming memories, emotions, and cultural references into an intimate sensory experience.

From a perspective closer to artistic creation than to a conventional view of perfumery, Sofía has helped shape the emotional and aesthetic identity of the brand, guiding the creation of fragrances born from deeply personal stories, memories, and sensibilities.

Together with Fernando Fitz-James Stuart and in creative collaboration with master perfumer Alberto Morillas, Sofía conceived FITZ-JAMES STUART as a cultural project where perfume becomes a contemporary language for revealing stories and memories.

For Sofía Palazuelo, perfume is not simply something one wears. It is a way of narrating the unseen.
