FITZ-JAMES STUART, OUR MISSION
Fitz-James Stuart is a project with a cultural purpose that seeks to reveal and share, through fine perfumery, the secret corners, works of art, botanical curiosities and personalities that form part of the legacy of the House of Alba. We were particularly keen to have master perfumer Alberto Morillas for our first collection, because we are united by a deep friendship and shared interests. Furthermore, his Spanish origins bring to Fitz-James Stuart the Mediterranean essence that can be perceived in each of his creations.
This brand was created with the aim of enduring over time and passing on its legacy to future generations.

FITZ-JAMES STUART, A FAMILY LEGACY
Since the 18th century, ten majestic sphinxes have solemnly guarded the secrets of the Liria Palace. They are enigmatic figures, heritage of the Enlightenment and the first of their kind in Madrid. Six of them are positioned at the main entrance, between the garden and the vibrant Princesa street, welcoming visitors. This act of reception is the inspiration behind the conception of F-JS. It symbolizes a silent yet profound invitation to immerse oneself in a unique sensorial universe. In the rear garden, four sphinxes guard the entrance and guide access to one of the most important private collections in Europe. F-JS carries out the same mission: to reveal the most secret and safeguarded corners of its legacy, accompanying all those who delve into the family’s history. With a lion’s body and a women’s head, the sphinx symbolizes the essence of Fitz-James Stuart perfumes: a strength and sophistication that transcend genders and time.
Each fragrance is a unique narrative inspired by the Houses of Alba and Berwick, designed to capture the essence of more than five centuries of history. A sensorial legacy based on real moments and intimate memories, revealed in episodes year after year.

"This collection has allowed me to immerse myself in a world of art, architecture, botany, and history, reconnecting with my Spanish roots. I truly enjoyed creating these scents, using ingredients of the finest quality and notes that evoke memories of my childhood. The result of this first epiosde is a series of fragrances in constant evolution: elegant, sophisticated, and inmersed in a Mediterranean spirit. My friendship with Sofia and Fernando has made this project deeply personal to me."
